Theyhavebeendesignedonlyfor
securingthevehicletoatransport
vesselduringshipping.
Usingtheeyeletsforanyother
purposecouldresultinthevehicle
beingdamaged.

Shifttoneutral(MT),ortheN
position(AT).
2.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheACC
positiontopreventthesteering
fromlockingup.
3.
Releasetheparkingbrake.
Rememberthatpowerassistforthe
brakesandsteeringwillnotbe
availablewhentheengineisnot
running.
qTiedownHook-Front
1.
Removethetiedowneyelet,lug
wrench,andjackleverfromthetrunk
(page7-3).
2.
Wrapthejackleverwithasoftclothto
preventdamagetothebumperand
openthecaplocatedonthefront
bumper.
CAUTION
Thecapcannotbecompletely
removed.Donotuseexcessiveforce
asitmaydamagethecaporscratch
thepaintedbumpersurface.
