Infant and child restraint

WARNING
Child restraint anchorages are designed to
withstand only those loads imposed by
correctly fitted child restraints. Under no
circumstances are they to be used for adult
seat belts, harnesses, or for attaching other
items or equipment to the vehicle.
Always protect infant and child passengers
in your vehicle with an approved restraint
system to suit their age and size and which
conforms to motor vehicle safety standards.
Do not allow an infant or child to travel
unrestrained, or to be held by another
passenger while the vehicle is moving, as this
will not protect the child in an emergency.
Child restraints - upper anchorages
Provision is made for the fitting of up to 3
child restraints in the rear seating positions of
the vehicle. These upper anchorages are
located on the underside of the rear roof,
beneath the rear header railin the positions
shown in illustration.
Always strictlyobserve the instructions
provided by the manufacturer for the
installation and use of any infant or child
restraint system. Failure to properlysecure the
system can endanger the occupant and also
cause injuryto other passengers in the event
of a collision or emergencystop.
