VERTICAL AIM ADJUSTMENT
YourvehicleisfittedwitheitherVOR(conventionalhalogen)orVOL
(HighIntensityDischarge-HID)headlamps.Theadjustmentprocedure
dependsonthetypeofheadlampsthatareequippedonyourvehicle.
VORismarkedonthebottominboardcornerofthelens.VOLismarked
onthetopofthelensbetweentherubbersealandblackplastichousing.
Pleasecheckthelensmarkingspriortoadjustingthevehicleaim.
VOR
1.
Parkthevehicleonalevelsurfacedirectlyinfrontofaverticalwallor
screen,approximately7.6meters(25feet)away.
2.
marka2.5meters(8foot)horizontalreferencelineontheverticalwall
orscreenatthisheight.(Apieceofmaskingtapeworkswell.)
Measuretheheightoftheheadlampbulbcenterfromthegroundand
3.
Turnonthelowbeamheadlampstoilluminatethewallorscreenand
openthehood.
4.
Thetopofthehighintensityareashouldtouchthehorizontalreference
line.Ifnot,thebeamwillneedtobeadjusted.
Onthewallorscreenyouwillobserveanareaofhighintensitylight.
5.
Locatetheverticaladjusteron
eachheadlamp.Usinga7mmAllen
wrench,turntheadjustereither
clockwise(toadjustdown)or
counterclockwise(toadjustup).
Thehighintensityareashouldtouch
thehorizontalreferenceline.
Note:HORIZONTALAIMISNOT
REQUIREDFORTHISVEHICLE
ANDISNON-ADJUSTIBLE.

Closethehoodandturnoffthelamps.
