TurningConfirmationPromptsOn/Off
The ’Voice Recognition’ button can be used when you
wish to skip part of a prompt and issue your voice
recognition command immediately. For example, if a
promptisplayingЉWouldyouliketopairaphone,clear
aѧЉ, you could press the ’Voice Recognition’ button and
sayЉPairAPhoneЉtoselectthatoptionwithouthavingto
listentotherestofthevoiceprompt.
Turning confirmation prompts off will stop the system
fromconfirmingyourchoices(e.g.theUConnect™sys-
temwillnotrepeataphonenumberbeforeyoudialit).

Pressthe’Phone’buttontobegin.
• AfterThe UConnectthe ЉReady™Љsystemprompt,willsayplayЉSetuptheConfirmationcurrent confir-Љ.

LanguageSelection
To change the language that the UConnect™ system is
using,pressthe’Phone’buttonandsaythenameofthe
language you wish to switch to (English, Español, or
Français as equipped). After selecting one of the lan-
guages,allpromptsandvoicecommandswillbeinthe
selectedlanguage.
LowSignal,BatteryStrength,andRoam
Notification
The UConnect™ system will provide notification to
inform you if your cellular phone is in roaming status,
has low signal strength, or has a low battery when you
aretryingtoplaceaphonecall.
