anchorages.Thentightenallthreestrapsasyoupushthe
childrestraintrearwardanddownwardintotheseat.
FleetVehiclesOnly:
Donotinstallchildrestraintsystemsequippedwith
LATCHattachmentsatallthreeseatingpositionsin
theseatatonetime.TheLATCHanchoragesinthis
seataredesignedtorestrainnomorethantwochild
restraintsatatimeintheeventofacollision.Failure
tofollowthismayresultinseriousorfatalinjury.
Not all child restraint systems will be installed as we
havedescribedhere.Again,carefullyfollowtheinstruc-
tionsthatcomewiththechildrestraintsystem.
We urge that you carefully follow the directions of the
manufacturerwheninstallingyourchildrestraint.Many,
but not all, restraint systems will be equipped with
separatestrapsoneachside,witheachhavingahookor
connector and a means for adjusting the tension in the
