UsingThePanicAlarm:
ToProgramTransmitters:
To turn the panic alarm feature ON or OFF, press and
holdthePANICbuttononthetransmitterforatleastone
second and release. When the panic alarm is on, the
headlightsandparklightswillflash,thehornwillpulse
onandoffandtheinteriorlightswillturnon.
RefertoSENTRYKEY“CustomerKeyProgramming.”
If you do not have a programmed transmitter, contact
yourdealerfordetails.

ToOpen/ClosePowerLiftgate—IfEquipped
PresstheLIFTGATEbuttontwicewithinfivesecondsto
open/closethepowerliftgate.Theliftgatewillbeepfor2
seconds and then open/close. If the button is pushed
whiletheliftgateisbeingpowerclosed,theliftgatewill
reversetothefullopenposition.
The panic alarm will stay on for 3 minutes unless you
turnitoffbypressingthePANICbuttonasecondtimeor
byturningtheignitionswitchtotheONposition.
NOTE: Whenyouturnoffthepanicalarmbypressing
the PANIC button a second time, you may have to be
closertothevehicleduetotheradiofrequencynoisesof
thesystem.
If the liftgate is locked and is not equipped with a
poweredliftgate,pressingthebuttontwicewillresultin
the liftgate becoming unlocked for 30 seconds allowing
youtomanuallyaccesstheliftgatearea.
