UNDERSTANDINGYOURINSTRUMENTPANEL
nostationisfoundwiththeselectedPTYprogramtype,
theradiowillreturntothelastpresetstation.
Fade
TheFadecontrolprovidesforbalancebetweenthefront
andrearspeakers.Pushinthebuttonanditwillpopout.
Adjustthebalanceandpushthebuttonbackin.Thefade
will be displayed and continuously updated while the
buttonisturned.
IfapresetbuttonisactivatedwhileinthePTY(Program
Type)mode,thePTYmodewillbeexitedandtheradio
willtunetothepresetstation.
PressingPTY,thenSCANwillscantheFMBandandstop
atallRDSstations.EachRDSstationwillbeplayedfora
ToneControl
Slide the Bass and/or Treble controls up or down to
adjustthesoundforthedesiredtone.Thetreble,andbass
will be displayed and continuously updated while the
slideismoved.

laststation.ThePTYiconwillthenturnoff.
Balance
TheBalancecontroladjuststheleft-to-rightspeakerbal-
ance.Pushinthebuttonanditwillpopout.Adjustthe
balanceandpushthebuttonbackin.Thebalancewillbe
displayedandcontinuouslyupdatedwhilethebuttonis
turned.
AM/FMSelection
PresstheAM/FMbuttontochangefromAMtoFM.The
operating mode will be displayed next to the station
frequency. The display will show ST when a stereo
stationisreceived.
