frontedgeofthehood,nearthecenter.

To prevent possible damage, do not slam the hood to

closeit.Lowerthehooduntilitisopenapproximately12

inches(30cm)andthendropit.Thisshouldsecureboth

latches.Neverdriveyourvehicleunlessthehoodisfully

closed,withbothlatchesengaged.

WARNING!

Ifthehoodisnotfullylatched,itcouldflyupwhen

thevehicleismovingandblockyourforwardvision.

Youcouldhaveacollision.Besureallhoodlatches

arefullylatchedbeforedriving.

HoodSafetyCatch

Use the hood prop rod to secure the hood in the open

position.
