Then reach under the hood and pull upward on the
safetylatchandliftthehood.Topreventpossibledam-
age, do not slam the hood to close it.  Use a firm
downwardpushatthecenterofthehoodtoensurethat
bothlatchesengage.
To open the hood, pull the release lever inside your
vehiclelocatedbelowtheinstrumentpanelandinfront
ofthedriver’sdoor.
