The Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) Module de-
termines if a frontal collision is severe enough to
requiretheairbagstoinflate.Thefrontairbaginflators
aredesignedtoprovidedifferentratesofairbaginfla-
tion from direction provided by the ORC. The ORC
may also modify the rate of inflation based on the
