engine revolutions-per-minute (r.p.m. x 1000) for each
gearrange.Beforereachingtheredarea,easeuponthe
accelerator.

If this indicator light flashes during accelera-
tion, apply as little throttle as possible. While
driving,easeupontheaccelerator.Adaptyour
speedanddrivingtotheprevailingroadcon-
ditions, and do not switch off the ESP, or TCS — if
equipped.TheindicatorlightwillflashwhentheESPor
TCS System is active and helping to improve vehicle
stability.Iftheindicatorlightisonsolid,ESPorTCSmay
notbeabletofunctionnormally.
Thislightwillflashrapidlyforapproximately15seconds
when the vehicle theft alarm is arming. The light will
flashataslowerspeedcontinuouslyafterthealarmisset.
The security light will also come on for about three
secondswhentheignitionisfirstturnedon.

OilPressureWarningLight
Thislightshowslowengineoilpressure.Thelight
should turn on momentarily when the engine is
started. If the light turns on while driving, stop the
vehicle, and shut off the engine as soon as possible. A
continuouschimewillsoundwhenthislightturnson.
