acceleration.Thismayresultinaslightlydifferentfeeling
orresponseduringnormaloperationinhighgear.When
the vehicle speed drops below a calibrated speed, or

If the vehicle has not been driven in several
days,thefirstfewsecondsofoperationaftershiftingthe
transmissionintogearmayseemsluggish.Thisisdueto
thefluidpartiallydrainingfromthetorqueconverterinto
the transmission. This condition is normal and will not
causedamagetothetransmission.Thetorqueconverter
willrefillwithinfivesecondsofshiftingfromParkinto
anyothergearposition.

The torque converter clutch will not engage

the engine speed is higher when the torque converter
clutchisnotengaged,itmayseemasifthetransmission
isnotshiftingintoOverdrivewhencold.Thisisnormal.
