Remove the fuel cap (gas cap) slowly to prevent
fuel spray from the filler neck which may cause
injury.
A fire may result if gasoline is pumped into a
portable container that is inside of a vehicle. You
couldbeburned.Alwaysplacegascontainersonthe
groundwhilefilling.
The volatility of some gasoline  may cause a
buildup of pressure in the fuel tank that may
increasewhileyoudrive.Thispressurecanresult
inasprayofgasolineand/orvaporswhenthecap
isremovedfromahotvehicle.Removingthecap
slowly allows the pressure to vent and prevents
fuelspray.
