To turn the ESP system OFF, press the switch, located
below the climate controls in the center stack, until the
ЉESPIndicator LightЉ in the instrument cluster turns on
and the message ЉESP SYSTEM DISABLEDЉ appears in
the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). Refer
toSection4ofthismanual.ToturnthesystembackON,
press the switch a second time until the ЉESP Indicator
LightЉturnsoff.ESPisalwaysavailableduringbraking
(in4WDHi)evenifithasbeenswitchedoff.

ESPControlSwitch
WhentheESPsystemhasbeenswitchedoff,afeatureof
thesystemremainsactive.Thisfeaturefunctionssimilar
toalimitedslipdifferentialandcontrolsthewheelspin
acrossanaxle.Ifonewheelonanaxleisspinningfaster
