The “Traction Control Indicator Light,” located in the
instrument cluster, will flash when the Traction Control
Systemisactive.
WARNING!
Tiltingthesteeringwheelcolumnwhilethevehicle
is moving is dangerous. Without a stable steering
column, you could lose control of the vehicle and
haveanaccident.Adjustthetiltingmechanismonly
while the vehicle is stopped. Be sure it is locked
beforedriving.

TRACTIONCONTROL—IFEQUIPPED
The Traction Control System monitors the amount of
wheelspinineachofthedrivenwheels.Ifwheelspinis
detected,thepressuretothebrakesystemoftheslipping
wheel(s)ismodulatedtoprovideenhancedacceleration.
The system operates at speeds typically encountered in
city traffic driving. 4WD models also include unique
logic in 4 HI or 4 LO (if equipped) to enhance off-road
capabilities.
TractionControlIndicatorLight
ToturnthesystemOFF,presstheswitch,locatedbelow
theclimatecontrolsinthecenterstack,untilthe“Traction
