UNDERSTANDINGTHEFEATURESOFYOURVEHICLE

The rain sensing system will not operate under the
followingconditions:whentheengineisrunningand
thegearselectorisinthePARKposition,orwhenthe
vehicleisstartedinbelowfreezingtemperatures.This
isdonetoprotectthewiperbladesfromdamage.Place
the gear selector in the DRIVE position to allow the
rainsensingfeaturetooperate.
TILTSTEERINGCOLUMN
Totiltthecolumn,pushdownontheleverbelowtheturn
signal control and move the wheel up or down, as
desired.Pulltheleverbacktowardsyouandfirmlypush
theleveruntilitisabovethelowersurfaceoftheshroud
tolockthecolumninplace.

A customer programmable feature in the Electronic
Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) allows the Rain
Sense feature to be turned off. Refer to “Electronic
VehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)”inSection4ofthis
manual.
