AdaptiveShiftStrategyofferstheoptimaltransmissionoperationandshift
quality.Whenthevehicle’sbatteryhasbeendisconnectedforanytypeof
serviceorrepair,thetransmissionwillneedtorelearnthenormalshift
strategyparameters,muchlikehavingtoresetyourradiostationswhen
yourvehiclebatteryhasbeendisconnected.TheAdaptiveTransmission
Strategyallowsthetransmissiontorelearntheseoperatingparameters.This
learningprocesscouldtakeseveraltransmissionupshiftsanddownshifts;
duringthislearningprocess,slightlyfirmershiftsmayoccur.Afterthis
learningprocess,normalshiftfeelandshiftschedulingwillresume.
