objectsfromtouchingthecodedkeywhilestartingtheengine.These
objectswillnotcausedamagetothecodedkey,butmaycausea
momentaryissueiftheyaretooclosetothekeywhenstartingthe
engine.Ifaproblemoccurs,turntheignitionoff,removeallobjectson
thekeychainawayfromthecodedkeyandrestarttheengine.
Anti-theft indicator
Theanti-theftindicatorislocatedin
theinstrumentcluster.

Whentheignitionisinthe1(LOCK)position,theanti-theftindicator
willflashonceevery2secondstoindicatetheSecuriLocksystemis
functioningasatheftdeterrent.
Whentheignitionisinthe3(RUN)position,theanti-theftindicator
willglowfor3seconds,thenturnofftoindicatenormalsystem
functionality.
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLocksystem,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisinthe3(RUN)position.Ifthis
occurs,thevehicleshouldbetakentoanauthorizeddealerforservice.
Replacement keys
Ifyourkeysarelostorstolenandyoudon’thaveanextracodedkey,
youwillneedtohaveyourvehicletowedtoanauthorizeddealer.The
keycodesneedtobeerasedfromyourvehicleandnewcodedkeyswill
needtobeprogrammed.
Replacingcodedkeyscanbeverycostly.Storeanextraprogrammedkey
awayfromthevehicleinasafeplacetohelppreventany
inconveniences.Pleasevisitanauthorizeddealertopurchaseadditional
spareorreplacementkeys.
