Turnthekeyinthedoorcylindertounlockthedriver’sdoor.Note:
Theinteriorlampswillilluminateifthecontrolontheoverheadlampis
intheDOORpositionandtheperimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)will
deactivate.Formoreinformation,refertoIlluminatedentrylaterinthis
chapter.

Turnthekeyinthedoorcylinderagainwithinthreesecondstounlock
thepassengerdoors,theliftgateandliftgateglass.
Onestepdoorunlocking
Iftheonestepdoorunlockingfeatureisactivated,turnthekeyinthe
doorcylinderoncetounlockallofthedoors,theliftgateandliftgate
glass.Note:Theinteriorlampswillilluminate(refertotheIlluminated
entryfeaturelaterinthissection),ifthecontrolontheoverheadlampis
intheDOORposition.Forinformationonswitchingfromtwosteptoone
stepdoorunlocking,refertoSwitchingfromtwosteptoonestepdoor
unlockinglaterinthischapter.
Lockingthedoors
Turnthekeyinthedoorcylindertolockallthedoors.Thepark/turn
lampswillflashonceandtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willstartthe
armingprocess.Formoreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,
refertoPerimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.
Ifanyofthedoors,theliftgateorthehoodarenotproperlyclosedthe
park/turnlampswillnotflash.
Autolock (if equipped)
Theautolockfeatureautomaticallylocksallvehicledoorswhen:
