Installingchildsafetyseatsincinchtonguecombinationlapand
shoulderbeltseatingpositions(rearcenterpositiononly)
Thebeltwebbingbelowthetongueisthelapportionofthecombination
lap/shoulderbelt,andthebeltwebbingabovethetongueistheshoulder
beltportionofthecombinationlap/shoulderbelt.
Note:Althoughthechildseatillustratedisaforwardfacingchildseat,
thestepsarethesameforinstallingarearfacingchildseat.

Positionthechildsafetyseatina
seatwithacombinationlapand
shoulderbelt.
WARNING:Airbagscankillorinjureachildinachildseat.If
youmustuseaforward-facingchildseatinthefrontseat,move
seatallthewayback.
WARNING:RearfacingchildseatsshouldNEVERbeplacedin
frontofanactiveairbag.
