TILT STEERING WHEEL
Toadjustthesteeringwheel:
1.
Pulltheleverdowntounlockthe
steeringcolumn.
2.
Whiletheleverisinthedown
position,movethesteeringwheel
upordownuntilyoufindthe
desiredposition.
3.
Whileholdingthesteeringwheel
inplace,pulltheleveruptoits
originalpositiontolockthesteering
column.
WARNING:Neveradjustthesteeringwheelwhenthevehicleis
moving.
ELECTRONIC COMPASS (IF EQUIPPED)
ThecompassheadingisdisplayedasoneofN,NE,E,SE,S,SW,Wand
NWinthecenterstackdisplay.
Thecompassreadingmaybeaffectedwhenyoudrivenearlarge
buildings,bridges,powerlinesandpowerfulbroadcastantenna.Magnetic
ormetallicobjectsplacedin,onornearthevehiclemayalsoaffect
compassaccuracy.
Usually,whensomethingaffectsthecompassreadings,thecompasswill
correctitselfafterafewdaysofoperatingyourvehicleinnormal
conditions.Ifthecompassstillappearstobeinaccurate,amanual
calibrationmaybenecessary.RefertoCompasszoneadjustment.
Mostgeographicareas(zones)haveamagneticnorthcompasspointthat
variesslightlyfromthenortherlydirectiononmaps.Thisvariationisfour
degreesbetweenadjacentzonesandwillbecomenoticeableasthe
vehiclecrossesmultiplezones.Acorrectzonesettingwilleliminatethis
error.RefertoCompasscalibrationadjustment.
