death.Ifyouexperienceasevereroadevent,SLOWDOWN.
DuringTractionControl™operation,
thetractioncontrolactivelightwill
illuminate,youmayhearanelectric
motortypeofsoundcomingfrom
theenginecompartmentandthe
enginewillnot“rev-up”whenyou
pushfurtherontheaccelerator.Thisisnormalsystembehaviorand
shouldbenoreasonforconcern.
TheTractionControl™switchis
locatedontheinstrumentpanel.
TheTractionControl™systemwill
automaticallyturnoneverytimethe
ignitionisturnedoffandon.
Ifyoushouldbecomestuckinsnow
oriceoronaveryslipperyroad
surface,tryswitchingtheTractionControl™systemoffbypressingthe
switch.Thismayallowexcesswheelspinto“dig”thevehicleoutand
enableasuccessful“rocking”maneuver.Ifyouwanttoturnoffthe
TractionControl™systembeawarethat,forsafetyreasons,theswitch
mustbepressedandheldforatleastonesecondbeforethesystemis
turnedoff.Tore-engagetheTractionControl™system,thebuttonmust
againbeheldforatleastonesecond.
Ifasystemfaultisdetected,thetractioncontrolactivelightwill
illuminate,theTractionControl™buttonwillnotturnthesystemonor
offandyourvehicleshouldbeservicedbyanauthorizeddealer.
