transaxle).
Theliftgatecanbelocked/unlockedby
operatingthedriver'sdoor-lockknob,
refertoPowerDoorLocks(page3-32).

LockSwitch
Whentheliftgateisunlockedbypressingthe
electricliftgateopenerbutton,theliftgate
raisesslightlytoallowittobeopened.Ifthe
liftgateisnotoperatedforacertainperiodof
timeaftertheelectricliftgateopenerbutton
hasbeenpressed,theliftgatecannotberaised
anymorefromitsslightlyraisedposition.
Presstheelectricliftgateopenerbuttonagain
tofullyopentheliftgate.Toclosetheliftgate
fromitsslightlyraisedposition,openitfirstby
pressingtheelectricliftgateopenerbuttonand
waitingfor1secondorlonger,thencloseit.
Theliftgatecanbelocked/unlockedby
operatingthedoor-lockswitch,referto
PowerDoorLocks(page3-32).
