passenger'sheadcausedbydirectlyhittinginteriorpartssuchasadoororwindow.
Inasideimpact:
Greaterthanmoderateimpacttoonesideofthevehiclewillcausethecurtainairbagon
thatsideonlytoinflate.
The side and curtain air bags will deploy only on the side the
vehicle receives the force of the impact.

Iftheairbag/frontseatbeltpretensionersystemisworkingproperly,thewarninglight
illuminateswhentheignitionisswitchedONoraftertheengineiscranked.Thewarning
lightturnsoffafteraspecifiedperiodoftime.
Asystemmalfunctionisindicatedifthewarninglightconstantlyflashes,constantly
illuminatesordoesnotilluminateatallwhentheignitionisswitchedON.Ifanyofthese
occur,consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealerassoonaspossible.Thesystemmaynotwork
inanaccident.
