position,iftheauxiliarykeyisinserted

Ifthesystemistriggeredagain,thelights
andhornwillactivateuntiladoororthe
liftgateisunlockedorthetrunklidis
openedwiththekeyorwiththe
transmitter.

Makesurethehoodandthetrunklid
areclosed.Closeandlockalldoorsand
theliftgatefromtheoutsideusingthe
key.Ifyouhavethekeylessentry
system,pressthelockbuttononthe
transmitter.

Pressarequestswitchonthedoorsor
thelockbuttononthetransmitter.

Thelightsandhorncanalsobe
deactivatedbypressingtherequestswitch
onadoor.

Thefollowingmethodwillalsoarmthe
theft-deterrentsystem:
Closethehoodandtheliftgate/trunk
lid.Presstheareaonthedoor-lock
switchmarked“ ”once.Closeall
doors.
Ifthebatterygoesdeadwhilethetheft-
deterrentsystemisarmed,thehornwill
activateandthehazardwarninglightswill
flashwhenthebatteryischargedorreplaced.
Thehazardwarninglightswillflash
once.
Thesecurityindicatorlightinthe
instrumentpanelflashestwiceper
secondfor20seconds.
Thetheftdeterrentsystemcanalsobe
armedbyactivatingtheautore-lock
functionwithallthedoors,theliftgate/
trunklidandthehoodclosed.
