EmergencyStarting
Iftheenginestilldoesnotstartusingthe
aboveprocedure,haveyourvehicle
inspectedbyanAuthorizedMazda
Dealer.
StartingaFloodedEngine
Iftheenginefailstostart,itmaybe
flooded(excessivefuelintheengine).
Followthisprocedure:
(WithoutAdvancedKeylessEntry&
PushButtonStartSystem)

Iftheenginedoesnotstartwithinfive
secondsonthefirsttry,turnthekeyto
theLOCKposition,waittenseconds
andtryagain.

Depresstheacceleratorallthewayand
holditthere.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheSTART
positionandholditthere―forupto
tenseconds.Iftheenginestarts,release
thekeyandacceleratorimmediately
becausetheenginewillsuddenlyrev
up.

Iftheenginefailstostart,crankit
withoutdepressingtheaccelerator―for
uptotenseconds.

ButtonStartSystem)

Iftheenginedoesnotstartwithinfive
secondsonthefirsttry,waitten
secondsandtryagain.

Depresstheacceleratorallthewayand
holditthere.
Depresstheclutchpedal(MT)orthe
brakepedal(AT)thenpressthepush
buttonstart.Iftheenginestarts,release
thekeyandacceleratorimmediately
becausetheenginewillsuddenlyrev
up.

Iftheenginefailstostart,crankit
withoutdepressingtheaccelerator.
