Donotusetheparkingbrakein
freezingweatherasitmayfreeze.
Instead,shifttoPwithanautomatic
transaxleandto1orRwithamanual
transaxle.Blocktherearwheels.
Donotapplyexcessiveforcetoa
windowscraperwhenremovingiceor
frozensnowonthemirrorglassand
windshield.
Neverusewarmorhotwaterfor
removingsnoworicefromwindows
andmirrorsasitcouldresultinthe
glasscracking.
Ifyoumustrockthevehicletofreeitfrom
snow,sandormud,depressthe
acceleratorslightlyandslowlymovethe
shiftleverfrom1(D)toR.
