Underthefollowingconditions,abeep
soundwillbeheardandtheKEYwarning
light(red)willflashcontinuouslywhen
thepushbuttonstarthasnotbeen
switchedofftonotifythedriverthatthe
advancedkeyhasbeenremoved.The
KEYwarninglight(red)willstopflashing
whentheadvancedkeyisbackinsidethe
vehicle:
qSystemMalfunctionWarningLight
Ifanymalfunctionoccursintheadvanced
keylessfunction,theKEYwarninglight
(red)intheinstrumentclusterilluminates
continuously.
CAUTION
IftheKEYwarninglight(red)remains
illuminated,donotcontinuetodrive
thevehiclewiththeadvancedkeyless
function.Parkthevehicleinasafe
placeandusetheauxiliarykeyto
continuedrivingthevehicle.Havethe
vehicleinspectedatanAuthorized
MazdaDealerassoonaspossible.

Thepushbuttonstarthasnotbeen

switchedoff,thedriver'sdoorisopen,
andtheadvancedkeyisremovedfrom
thevehicle.(Abeepsoundwillbe
heardthreetimes.)
Howeverthebeepsoundwillbeheard
continuouslywhenthepushbutton
startisswitchedtoACCandthedoor
isopenduetotheactivationofthe
warningbeepsoundindicatingthatthe
pushbuttonstartisnotswitchedoff.
Thepushbuttonstarthasnotbeen
qIgnitionNotSwitchedOff

switchedoffandallthedoorsare
closedafterremovingtheadvanced
keyfromthevehicle.(Abeepsound
willbeheardsixtimes.Thevolumeof
thebeepsoundcanbechanged.)

(STOP)WarningBeep
Ifthedriver'sdoorisopenedwhilethe
ignitionisswitchedtoACC,acontinuous
beepsoundwillbeheardtonotifythe
driverthattheignitionhasnotbeen
switchedoff(STOP).Leftinthis
condition,thekeylessentrysystemwill
notoperate,thecarcannotbelocked,and
thebatterypowerwillbedepleted.
NOTE
Becausetheadvancedkeyutilizeslow-intensity
radiowaves,theAdvancedKeyRemovedFrom
VehicleWarningmayactivateiftheadvanced
keyiscarriedtogetherwithametalobjectorit
isplacedinapoorsignalreceptionarea
withinthevehicle.
