Thisindicatorlightilluminateswhenthe
ignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
positionandgoesoffwhentheengineis
started.
Whenoperatingtheturn-signallights,the
leftorrightturn-signalindicatorlight
flashestoindicatewhichturn-signallight
isoperating(page5-45).
Thelightilluminatestoindicatethatthe
powersteeringisinoperable.Ifthelight
illuminates,turnofftheengineandrestart
it.
Whenoperatingthehazardwarning
lights,bothturn-signalindicatorlights
flash(page5-51).
Ifthelightdoesnotilluminateafter
restartingtheengine,thisindicatesthat
thepowersteeringisrestoredandnormal
steeringispossible.
Ifthelightremainsilluminated,thepower
steeringisstillinoperable.Consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
NOTE
Ifanindicatorlightremainsilluminated
(doesnotflash)orifitflashes
abnormally,theturnsignalbulbmaybe
burnedout.
NOTE
Thepowersteeringsystemisinoperable
whenthepowersteeringmalfunction
indicatorlightilluminates.Steeringis
possible,butrequiresmorephysical
effort.
