Aseatbeltcaughtunderaseatback
aftertheseatbackisreturnedtoits
uprightpositionisdangerous.Ina
collisionorsuddenstop,theseatbelt
cannotprovideadequateprotection.
Alwaysmakesuretheseatbeltsare
fullypulledoutfromunderthe
seatbacks.
ReturningRearSeatbackstothe
UprightPosition:
Arearseatbacknotfullyreturnedand
lockedintheuprightpositionis
dangerous.Suddenstopsor
NOTE
maneuveringcouldcauseaseatback
toflipforwardsuddenlyresultingin
injury.Iftheredindicatorisvisibleon
thebackoftherearseatbackknob,the
seatbackisnotlockedintheupright
position.Whenreturningtheseatback
totheuprightposition,makesure
thereisnoredindication.
Theseatbacklocksarepartofthetrunk
securitysystem(page3-14).

adjustedtooloworremovedis
Locked position
dangerous.Withnosupportbehind
yourhead,yourneckcouldbe
seriouslyinjuredinacollision.Always
drivewiththeheadrestraintsinserted
whenseatsarebeingusedandmake
suretheyareproperlyadjusted.
