andtreaddesign.Ifthisisthecase,thisdissimilarsparetireisstillrated
foryourvehicleloads(GAWRandGVWR).
Theuseoftiresealantsmaydamageyourtires.
Dissimilar spare tire/wheel information
Failuretofollowtheseguidelinescouldresultinanincreased
riskoflossofvehiclecontrol,injuryordeath.
Ifyouhaveadissimilarsparetire/wheel,thenitisintendedfor
temporaryuseonly.Thismeansthatifyouneedtouseit,youshould
replaceitassoonaspossiblewitharoadtire/wheelthatisthesamesize
andtypeastheroadtiresandwheelsthatwereoriginallyprovidedby
Ford.Ifthedissimilarsparetireorwheelisdamaged,itshouldbe
replacedratherthanrepaired.
Adissimilarsparetire/wheelisdefinedasasparetireand/orwheelthat
isdifferentinbrand,sizeorappearancefromtheroadtiresandwheels
andcanbeoneofthreetypes:

T-typemini-spare:Thissparetirebeginswiththeletter“T”fortire
sizeandmayhave“TemporaryUseOnly”moldedinthesidewall

Full-sizedissimilarsparewithlabelonwheel:Thissparetirehas
alabelonthewheelthatstates:“THISTIREANDWHEELFOR
TEMPORARYUSEONLY”
