Youmayalsoperformthefollowingpowerdoorlocksequenceto
enable/disabletheperimeterlampsfeature.Note:Beforestarting,ensure
theignitionisinthe1(LOCK)positionandallvehicledoorsareclosed.
YoumustcompleteSteps1–5within30secondsortheprocedurewill
havetoberepeated.Iftheprocedureneedstoberepeated,waita
minimumof30secondsbeforebeginningagain.

Placethekeyintheignitionand
turntheignitiontothe3(RUN)
position.
2.
Pressthepowerdoorunlock
controlonthedoorpanelthree
times.
3.
Turntheignitionfromthe3
(RUN)positiontothe1(LOCK)
position.
4.
5.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthedoorpanelthreetimes.
Turntheignitionbacktothe3(RUN)position.Thehornwillchirp
onetimetoconfirmprogrammingmodehasbeenenteredandisactive.
6.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontroltwicewithin5seconds.Note:
Thehornwillchirponcetoindicatetheperimeterlightingfeaturehas
beendeactivated.Thehornwillchirponceandhonkonce(oneshort
andonelong)toindicatetheperimeterlightingfeaturehasbeen
activated.
7.
Turntheignitiontothe1(LOCK)positiontoexittheprocedure.
Note:Thehornwillchirponcetoconfirmtheprocedureiscomplete.

Whenallvehicledoorsareclosedandthekeyisremovedfromthe
ignition,theinteriordomelamps(andtheexteriormirrorpuddle
lamps,ifequipped)willilluminate.

Batterysaver
Thebatterysaverwillshutofftheinteriorlamps30minutesafterthe
ignitionhasbeenturnedtothe1(LOCK)position.

Ifthedomelampswereturnedonusingthepaneldimmercontrol,the
batterysaverwillshutthemoff30minutesaftertheignitionhasbeen
turnedtothe1(LOCK)position.
