WindshieldWiperOperation
Pushdownonthewiperlevertoactivateasinglewipeto
clear off road mist or spray from a passing vehicle. As
longastheleverishelddown,thewiperswillcontinue
tooperate.
Turn the control lever end cap upward to the middle
mark(sixthdetent)forLowspeedwiperoperation,orto
the upper mark (seventh detent) for High speed opera-
tion.

IntermittentWiperSystem
CAUTION!
Use the intermittent wiper when weather conditions
make a single wiping cycle, with a variable pause be-
tweencycles,desirable.Movethecontrollevertoanyof
the first five wiper switch positions by turning the end
capofthecontrollever.Thedelaycanberegulatedfrom
amaximumofapproximately18secondsbetweencycles,
toacycleeverysecond.
In cold weather, always turn off the wiper switch
andallowthewiperstoreturntotheparkposition
beforeturningofftheengine.Ifthewiperswitchis
left on and the wipers freeze to the windshield,
damage to the wiper motor may occur when the
vehicleisrestarted.
