FUELREQUIREMENTS(DIESELENGINES)
Use good quality diesel fuel from a reputable supplier.
For most year-round service, No. 2 diesel fuel meeting
ASTM specification D-975 will provide good perfor-
mance.Ifthevehicleisexposedtoextremecold(below

fuel system trouble, drain the accumulated water from
thefuel/waterseparatorusingthefuel/waterseparator
drainprovided.Ifyoubuygoodqualityfuelandfollow
thecoldweatheradviceabove,fuelconditionersshould
notberequiredinyourvehicle.Ifavailableinyourarea,
ahighcetane“premium”dieselfuelmayofferimproved
cold-startingandwarm-upperformance.
