Toavoidinjurystandbackwhenopening.Glasswill
automaticallyrise.
The vacuum fluorescent (VF) display located in the
odometer area displays  the words “GATE” and/or
“GLASS”asanindicationofwhentheswinggateand/or
flip-up window, is not completely closed. When the
vehicleisnotmovingandtheswinggateand/orflip-up
window is not completely closed, the VF display will
showtheword“GATE”and/or“GLASS”andthenshow
the odometer/trip odometer mileage (each for 2 sec-
onds).Thedisplaywillcontinuetocycle.
NOTE: If vehicle is equipped with the optional Elec-
tronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)intheoverhead
console, the warnings “door”, “GATE”, “GLASS”, and
“LOWASH”willbedisplayedintheEVICdisplay(notin
GateOpenDisplay
