TheESPControlSystemwillmakebuzzingorclicking
sounds when it is active. This is normal; the sounds
will stop when ESP becomes inactive following the
maneuverthatcausedtheESPactivation.
ELECTRONICSPEEDCONTROL
ToActivate
Whenengaged,thisdevicetakesoveracceleratoropera-
tions beginning at speeds of approximately 30 mph (48
km/h).Thecontrolsaremountedonthesteeringwheel
andconsistofON·OFF,SET,RES·ACCEL,CANCEL,and
DECELcontrols.
PressandreleasetheON·OFFbuttontoturnthesystem
on. To turn the system off, press the ON·OFF button
again.Thesystemshouldbeturnedoffwhennotinuse.
The CRUISE indicator light in the instrument cluster
illuminateswhenthesystemison.
