This safety belt system has a retractor assembly that is
designedtopayoutwebbinginacontrolledmanner.This
featureisdesignedtohelpreducethebeltforceactingon
theoccupant’schest.

Bucklethecombinationlapandshoulderbelt.

Grasptheshoulderportionandpulldownwarduntil
theentirebeltisextracted.
3.
Allowthebelttoretract.Asthebeltretracts,youwill
hear a clicking sound. This indicates the safety belt is
nowintheautomaticlockingmode.
HowtoDisengageTheAutomaticLockingMode
Disconnectthecombinationlap/shoulderbeltandallow
ittoretractcompletelytodisengagetheautomaticlock-
ingmodeandactivatethevehiclesensitive(emergency)
lockingmode.
