onbrieflyasabulbcheck.Ifthelightdoesnotcomeon
during starting, have the system checked by an autho-
rizeddealer.

29. GlowPlugIndicatorLight—DieselModelsOnly
This light will illuminate when the ignition
switchisfirstturnedtotheONposition.Wait
until the light turns off before starting the
vehicle. Refer to “Starting Procedures — Nor-
malStartingDieselEngines”inSection5ofthismanual.
NOTE: “Two-footed”drivingisnotrecommended.In-
advertently driving with the brake pedal depressed for
more than a few seconds when the accelerator pedal is
heldinplacecancausetheETCsystemtoassumethata
stuckacceleratorpedalhasoccurred.Thiswillresultina
