Many,butnotallrestraintsystemswillbeequippedwith
separatestrapsoneachside,witheachhavingahookor
connector for attachment to the lower anchorage and a
means of adjusting the tension in the strap. Forward-
facing toddler restraints and some rear-facing infant
restraints will also be equipped with a tether strap, a
hookforattachmenttothetetherstrapanchorageanda
meansofadjustingthetensionofthestrap.
