To lock the doors from inside, simply
closethedoorandpushthelockswitch
to the "LOCK" position.
When this is done, the door cannot be
opened using either the inside or the
outsidedoorhandle.
Thereardoorsarefittedwithchildproof
locks to prevent accidental opening of
thedoorsusingtheinsidedoorhandle,
whilstallowingaccessbymeansofthe
outside handle (such as is required in
the event of an acccident for example)
provided that the door lock button is at
the unlocked position. Use of the child
prooflockmechanismisrecommended
whenchildrenarecarriedinthevehicle.
The child proof lock mechanism may
be activated by opening the door and
moving the lever located by the door
latch to the " " locked position. Move
the lever to the " " unlocked position
whennormaldooroperationisdesired.

Thecentraldoorlockingisoperatedby
pushing the driver's door lock switch
towardthefrontorrearofthevehicle.If
thepassengerandreardoorsareopen
whentheswitchispushed,thedoorwill
remain locked when closed.
NOTE:

When the door is locked, the red
markontheswitchisnotvisibleand
thecharacter"LOCK"ontheswitch
is visible.
o When pushing the switch toward
therear,alldoorsandtailgatewill
unlock.
When pushing the switch toward
the front, all doors and tail gate
will lock.
