Air Intake Control
With the "Fresh" mode selected, air
entersthevehiclefromtheoutsideand
is heated or cooled according to the
function selected.

Withthe"Recirculation"modeselected,
airfromwithinthepassengercompart-
mentwillbedrawnthroughtheheating
systemandheatedorcooledaccording
to the function selected.
NOTE:

It should be noted that prolonged
operationoftheheatingin"Recircu-
lation" mode will increase to fog-
gingofthewindshieldandsidewin-
dows and the air within the passen-
gercompartmentwillbecomestale.
In addition, prolonged use of the air
conditioningwiththe"Recirculation"
mode selected may result in the air
within the passenger compartment
becomingexcessivelydry.
HFC2067
Fornormalheatingoperation,settheair
intake control to the "Fresh" position
and the air flow control to "Floor".
This is used to select fresh outside air
or recirculating inside air.
To change the air intake control mode,
(Freshmode,Recirculationmode)push
the control button.
Forfasterheating,theairintakecontrol
should be in the "Recirculation" posi-
tion.
FRESH MODE (
) :
The indicator light on the button goes
offwhentheairintakecontrolisinfresh
mode.
Ifthewindowsfogup,movetheairflow
controltothe"Def"(defroster)position.
(TheA/Cwillturnonautomaticallyand
"Fresh" mode will be activated.)
RECIRCULATION MODE (
):
The indicator light on the button is
illuminated when the air intake control
is in recirculation mode.
Formaximumheat,rotatethetempera-
ture control to "Warm".
