strike, modify, inspect, replace,
serviceorrepairthepre-tensioner
seat belt assemblies may lead to
improperoperationorinadvertent
activation and serious injury.
o Always wear the seat belts when
driving or travelling in a motor
vehicle.
CAUTION:
WARNING:
o Becausethesensorthatactivates
the SRS airbag is connected with
thepre-tensionerseatbelt,theSRS
o Pre-tensioners are designed to
operate only one time. After acti-
vation, pre-tensioner seat belts
mustbereplaced.Allseatbelts,of
any type, should always be re-
placed after they have been worn
during a collision.
o Thepre-tensionerseatbeltassem-
blymechanismsbecomehotdur-
ing activation. Do not touch the
pre-tensionerseatbeltassemblies
forseveralminutesaftertheyhave
beenactivated.
o Do not attempt to inspect or re-
placethepre-tensionerseatbelts
yourself.Thismustbedonebyan
Hyundaiauthorisedrepairer.
o Donotstrikethepre-tensionerseat
beltassemblies.
o Donotattempttoserviceorrepair
thepre-tensionerseatbeltsystem
in any manner.

BAG
on the
instrument panel will blink for
approximately6secondsafterthe
ignitionkeyhasbeenturnedtothe
"ON" position and then it should
turn off.
o Ifthepre-tensionerseatbeltisnot
working properly, this warning
light will illuminate even if the
SRS system is not functioning.
If the SRS airbag warning light
doesnotilluminatewhentheigni-
tion key is turned to "ON", or if it
remainsilluminatedafterblinking
forapproximately6seconds,orif
it illuminates whilst the vehicle is
being driven, please have an
Hyundai authorised repairer in-
spect the pre-tensioner seat belt
or SRS airbag system as soon as
possible.
