than the driver’s outside door handle.

locking knobs in the doors move up.
The anti-theft alarm system is dis-

If you can no longer lock or unlock the
vehicle with the SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO, the
batteries in the SmartKey are discharged, the
SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO is malfunctioning or
the vehicle battery is drained.
i If battery check lamp 5 (୴ page 112) does
not come on briefly during check, the SmartKey
with KEYLESS-GO batteries are discharged.
Global locking

Press the lock button on an outside
door handle (୴ page 68).
Replace the batteries (୴ page 480).

Check the batteries in the SmartKey with
KEYLESS-GO (୴ page 116) and replace
them if necessary (୴ page 480).
You can obtain the required batteries at any
authorized Mercedes-Benz Light Truck Center.
