Replacing bulbs

Turn the hook or screwdriver 90°.
̈ Turn bulb socket 4 clockwise until it
engages.
Hold the cover 1 and pull the hook or
screwdriver outwards.
̈ Plug in the electrical connector.
You can now access the front fog lamp.
̈ Insert front fog lamp 2 back into
bumper.

̈
Fasten retaining screws 3.
Reinsert cover 1 and press it in until it
engages.

Bulb socket of front fog lamp bulb
Turn bulb socket 4 counterclockwise.
Pull bulb socket 4 out of the housing.
Additional turn signal lamps bulbs
The additional turn signal lamps in the
exterior rear view mirrors have LEDs.

Pull the front fog lamp bulb out of bulb
socket 4.
If a malfunction occurs or LEDs fail to func-
tion, the entire turn signal unit must be re-
placed. Have the turn signal unit replaced
by an authorized Mercedes-Benz Light
Truck Center.

Insert the new front fog lamp bulb into
bulb socket 4.

Retaining screws

Turn retaining screws 3 counterclock-
Insert bulb socket 4 into the housing.

Remove front fog lamp 2 out of the
bumper.
Pull electrical connector off.
