After the ignition key is switched to OFF, a call can
continueontheUConnect௡systemforacertaindura-
tion, after which the call is automatically transferred
fromtheUConnect௡systemtothemobilephone.
After selecting one of the languages, all prompts and
voicecommandswillbeinthatlanguage.
NOTE: AftereveryUConnect௡languagechangeopera-
tion, only the language-specific 32-name phonebook is
usable.Thepairedphonenameisnotlanguage-specific     3
andusableacrossalllanguages.
An active call is automatically transferred  to the
mobilephoneaftertheignitionkeyisswitchedtoOFF.

If you are in an emergency and the mobile phone is
reachable:

To change the language that the UConnect௡ system is
using:
• Picknumberupfortheyourphonearea.and manually dial the emergency

PressthePHONEbuttontobegin.
IfthephoneisnotreachableandtheUConnect௡system
isoperational,youmayreachtheemergencynumberas
follows:
AftertheЉReadyЉpromptandthefollowingbeep,say
the name of the language you wish to switch to
(English,Espanol,orFrancais,ifsoequipped).

PressthePHONEbuttontobegin.
•
Continue to follow the system prompts to complete
languageselection.
