13. TransmissionRangeIndicator
Thisdisplayindicatorshowstheautomatictransaxlegear
selection.
Thelightdoesnotshowthequantityofoilintheengine.
This can be determined using the procedure shown in
Section7.
14. Odometer/TripOdometer
The odometer shows the total distance the vehicle has
been driven. U.S. federal regulations require that upon
transfer of vehicle ownership, the seller certify to the
purchaser the correct mileage that the vehicle has been
driven. Therefore, if the odometer reading is changed
duringrepairorreplacement,besuretokeeparecordof
thereadingbeforeandaftertheservicesothatthecorrect
mileagecanbedetermined.
11.
EngineTemperatureWarningLight
This light warns of an overheated engine condi-
tion.Iftheengineiscriticallyhot,awarningchime
willsound10times.Afterthechimeturnsoff,the
enginewillstillbecriticallyhotuntilthelightgoesout.
