DualTripOdometer—IfEquipped
If the light is flashing when the engine is running you
mayexperiencepowerloss,anelevated/roughidle,and
increased brake pedal effort, and your vehicle may
requiretowing.Immediateserviceisrequired.
Pressandreleasethisbuttontochangethedisplayfrom
odometerto“TripA.”Pressandreleaseitasecondtime
tochangethedisplayto“TripB.”Pressandreleaseita
thirdtimetochangethedisplaybacktotheodometer.
The light will come on when the ignition switch is first
turnedONandremainonbrieflyasabulbcheck.Thisis
normal. If the light does not come on during starting, 4
havethesystemcheckedbyanauthorizeddealer.
Toresetthetripodometer,firstdisplaythetripmileage
thatyouwanttoreset,“TripA”or“TripB.”Thenpush
and hold the button (approximately two seconds) until
thedisplayresetstozero.TheodometermustbeinTrip
Modetoresetthetripodometer.
18. ElectronicStabilityProgram(ESP)Indicator
Light/TractionControlSystem(TCS)IndicatorLight—
IfEquipped
If this indicator light flashes during accelera-
tion, apply as little throttle as possible. While
driving,easeupontheaccelerator.Adaptyour
speedanddrivingtotheprevailingroadcon-
ditions, and do not switch off the ESP, or TCS — if
equipped.

ElectronicThrottleControlIndicatorLight
This red illuminated light informs you of a
problem with the Electronic Throttle Control
system.Ifaproblemisdetected,thelightwill
come on while the engine is running. If the
light remains lit with the engine running your vehicle
will usually be drivable and not need towing, however
seeyourdealerforserviceassoonaspossible.
