theiPod௡batterychargeswhenpluggedintotheUCI
connector.
PlayMode
When switched to UCI mode the iPod௡ will be in Play
mode.InPlaymode,youmayusethefollowingbuttons
on the radio faceplate to control the iPod௡ and display
data:
ConnectingTheiPodாDevice
UsetheoptionalconnectioncabletoconnectaniPod௡to
thevehicle’sUCIconnector(whichislocatedintheglove
box on some vehicles. This location may vary with
vehicle).OncetheiPod௡isconnectedandsynchronized
to the vehicle system (this may take a few seconds to
connect), the vehicle brand logo appears on the iPod௡
display, and it starts charging and is ready for use by
pressingradioswitchesasdescribedbelow.
TUNE/SCROLLKnob
Use the TUNE/SCROLL knob to go to the next or
previoustrack.
TheTUNE/SCROLLknobfunctionssimilartothescroll
wheelontheiPod௡mobiledigitaldevice.
Turningitclockwise(forward)byoneclickwhileplaying
atrackskipstothenexttrack.
ControllingTheiPodாUsingRadioButtons
TogetintotheUCI(iPod௡)modeandaccessaconnected
iPod௡,presstheAUXbuttonontheradiofaceplate.Once
in the UCI (iPod௡) mode, the iPod௡ audio track (if
availablefromiPod௡)willstartplayingoverthevehicle
audiosystem.
Turning it counterclockwise (backward) by one click
duringthefirsttwosecondsofthetrackwilljumptothe
previoustrackinthelistandturningthisbuttonatany
othertimeinthetrackwilljumptothebeginningofthe
currenttrack.
