THINGSTOKNOWBEFORESTARTINGYOURVEHICLE

All of the following conditions must be met before the
enginewillremotestart:
ToEnterRemoteStartMode
Press and release the Remote Start button on
theRKEtransmittertwice.Theenginewillstart
andthevehiclewillremainintheRemoteStart
modefora15–minutecycle.

Doorsclosed.
NOTE:
• whenFor security,thevehiclepowerisinwindowtheRemoteoperationStartmode.is   disabled
Hoodclosed.
Trunkclosed.

Theenginecanbestartedtwoconsecutivetimes(two
15–minutecycles)withtheRKEtransmitter.However,
Hazardswitchoff.
Brakeswitchinactive(brakepedalnotpressed).
Ignitionkeyremovedfromignitionswitch.
Batteryatanacceptablechargelevel.
RKEPANICbuttonnotpressed.
theignitionswitchmustbecycledtotheONposition
before you can repeat the start sequence for a third
cycle.
ToExitRemoteStartModeWithoutDrivingThe
Vehicle
Allowtheenginetorunfortheentire15-minutecycle.
