WARNING!
The head restraints for all occupants must be prop-
erlyadjustedpriortooperatingthevehicleoroccu-
pying a seat. Head restraints should never be ad-
justed while the vehicle is in motion. Driving a
vehiclewiththeheadrestraintsimproperlyadjusted
orremovedcouldcauseseriousinjuryordeathinthe
eventofanaccident.
NOTE: The engine must be running for the ventilated
seatstooperate.

VehiclesEquippedwithRemoteStart
On models that are equipped with remote start, the
driver’s ventilated seat can be programmed to come on
duringaremotestart.Referto“RemoteStartingSystem

Vehicle”forfurtherinformation.
Active Head Restraints are passive, deployable compo-
nents,andvehicleswiththisequipmentcannotbereadily
identifiedbyanymarkings,onlythroughvisualinspec-
tionoftheheadrestraint.Theheadrestraintwillbesplit
in two halves, with the front half being soft foam and
trim,thebackhalfbeingdecorativeplastic.
HeadRestraints
Headrestraintsaredesignedtoreducetheriskofinjury
by restricting head movement in the event of a rear-
impact.Headrestraintsshouldbeadjustedsothatthetop
oftheheadrestraintislocatedabovethetopofyourear.
